About Me
With lived experience of neurodiversity, I specialise in supporting clients as they navigate emotional dysregulation, chronic stress, and traumatic life events. I'm also experienced in working with co-occurring and long-term health conditions, offering a compassionate and informed approach tailored to complex needs.
My approach focuses on nurturing autonomy, enhancing confidence, and cultivating a strong sense of identity. I employ creative communication techniques that facilitate embodied self-reflection. In addition, I provide skills training grounded in neuroscience principles, designed to help clients feel psychologically safe and gain a sense of control over their lives.
My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration, and I offer a safe, thoughtful space in which clients can make sense of their life experiences with understanding and support.
My Approach
I am a qualified counsellor with experience working with adults, young people, and families. My approach is integrative, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic perspectives to meet each client’s individual needs. Alongside talking therapy, I also work in a relational, reflective, and sometimes somatic way, helping clients make sense of their thoughts, feelings, and patterns of experience.
I work with modalities including:
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) – practical skills for emotion regulation and resilience
Internal Family Systems (IFS) – gentle exploration of inner parts to foster self‑leadership
Polyvagal Informed Resourcing – strengthening the sense of security that underpins healthy relationships
Somatic Psychotherapy – engaging the wisdom of the body to release stored tension and trauma
Guided by somatic practices and becoming more attuned to one's own experience helps create lasting change
so that you can live, connect, and thrive with greater ease.

Embodied Counselling
My work is based on the premise that true healing happens when the mind and body work together. My embodied behavioural approach recognises that stress, emotion, and trauma often live in the body as much as in our thoughts.
In our work, you’ll be gently guided to:
Notice your body’s signals – tune into subtle sensations that reveal what words can’t.
Breathe and move purposefully – use breathwork and mindful movement to release tension and restore balance.
Ground and centre – practise simple techniques that anchor you in the present, easing anxiety and overwhelm.
By weaving these practices into counselling, we unlock stuck emotions, soothe the nervous system, and cultivate a deeper, kinder connection to ourselves—supporting lasting emotional and physical well‑being.
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
Mindfulness‑Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)
MBCT combines the practical tools of cognitive therapy with the restorative power of mindfulness. In our sessions, you’ll learn to:
Anchor in the present moment – use simple, guided mindfulness practices to steady your attention.
Unhook from negative thought loops – spot unhelpful patterns early and choose a kinder, more balanced response.
Regulate mood and anxiety – develop proven techniques to calm the nervous system and manage emotions with confidence.
By training the mind to observe thoughts—not be ruled by them—MBCT helps you create the mental space needed for lasting well‑being and a more vibrant, resilient life..
Neurodiversity Coaching

Metal Colour Light Therapy
Developed by Marianne Altmaier, Metal Colour Light Therapy (MCLT) is a therapeutic approach that combines the properties of metal-infused coloured light with the aim of promoting recovery and balance in the body.
The method is based on the philosophies of Anthroposophical Medicine, founded by Rudolf Steiner, and is used to treat a variety of health problems, particularly those resulting from poor mental health and long-term health issues.
